We have a YouTube Channel! Greenhouse Yard on YouTube – our videos appear in our blog posts, so we aren’t posting them on THIS page – but please subscribe to the channel!
Here are some excellent videos that were helpful in showing us how to build a custom greenhouse from recycled old windows. Posted in no particular order – we found these videos to be the most helpful for getting started.

This is a small structure, but I like the way she filmed this and I think she really covered all the important parts. Showed us how to line things up and sealing up the old panes of glass with silicone is a good tip. I like the colors she chose to paint it and after watching this, the project seemed very attainable. I can DO THIS![/su_column]

This was helpful as the structure is the same shape I;m interested in – a leanto style greenhouse. I like that they made the plans using puzzle pieces and he reminded me to keep in mind the spaces for the 2×4 framing.

I’ve been watching James Prigioni’s channel for some time now and I knew when I decided to start this project that I wanted to check out how he put his greenhouse together. He’s local to me – same county in New Jersey – I’m going to follow his lead on putting together my foundation and my corner posts.

Roots and Refuge video is so thorough and really points out potential problems, how to measure the pitch of the roof, even the suggestion of hardware cloth on the shelves is something I plan to implement in my build!
